The Golden Show highlights

We’re excited to reveal our edited video with highlights from the Golden Show! A huge thanks to our students for all their efforts in organising this fabulous event! A further thanks to our sponsors: AVC Media who provided all our lighting on the night; Bon Accord & St Nicholas for providing the garments; Down’s Syndrome Scotland, our chosen Charity; Breakneck Comedy for organising our fantastic MC, Wray Thomson; and Premiere Productions for providing a number of our gorgeous models.

A huge thank you to Jen Birtles Kelman who has done a fantastic job of pulling together the highlights of this year’s event into this video. The footage seen here was filmed by our third year BA (Hons) Fashion Management students – well done them!

We hope you enjoy it! To see more photos from the event visit our Pinterest.

The Golden Show

Post confetti

On Friday, our third year students raised £4737 for Down’s Syndrome Scotland in a successful Golden Show event! A fantastic assortment of fashion from Aberdeen’s Bon Accord & St Nicholas was showcased in themed catwalks and our fabulous fashion finale showcased couture designs from Aberdeen based designer and Gray’s School of Art graduate, Daniel Crozier, whose show-stopping dresses wowed the audience (and us!) Students gathered on stage to announce the total funds raised for the charity and were showered in confetti by the large balloon that was elevated over the stage during the event (it worked – yay!)

Feedback from our guests highlights the fashion and entertainment as their favourite aspects of the show; the latter included our fantastic MC, Wray Thomson, the talented singer/ songwriter Anna Barton, and modern violinist, Ramus.

A huge thank you to our guests, entertainers, models and sponsors who collectively made the show a success! A special thanks to our main event sponsor AVC Media who helped us transform our venue into our vision of the Golden Show.
