Over the next eight weeks, our students will work in teams to organise our annual fashion show. The show will take place on Friday the 29th of May with doors opening at 7pm. This year’s theme will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Aberdeen Business School through a showcase of formal and informal party attire from Aberdeen’s Bon Accord & St Nicholas alongside some other local retailers (watch this space).
More on this very soon…
Happy friday from our resident (corporate coloured) Easter chicks!
This has been an exciting week at the Fashion Place where we’ve seen our first year students pitch creative ideas for the “Fabulous at Fifty” fashion exhibition and launched the fashion show project with our third years (more on this later).
Have a fabulous, fashion filled weekend!
Jean is rocking the same outfit 50 years later; 50 is just a number! A sneak preview of another student exhibit for our “Fabulous at 50” Fashion Exhibition on the 16th of April!
Aberdeen Business School turns 50 this year and we’re hosting a series of events to celebrate! Here’s the first visual from our Events, Fashion and PR students who are working together to organise our annual fashion exhibition, taking place on the 16th of April.
There are 12 groups working on separate exhibition spaces – all inspired by our 50th anniversary! Each team has been given £10 to be spent on a garment from a designated charity shop in Aberdeen. Our first team will showcase their customised Barnardo’s garment in a Sound of Music inspired exhibition, as the film was also released in the 1960s. Watch this space for more of our exhibition visuals.
It’s March (already) and here’s our monthly throwback to this time last year when our first year fashion management students were creating commonwealth themed window displays to celebrate Glasgow 2014! This year’s theme… the fiftieth anniversary of Aberdeen Business School (of course)! Watch this space…
