Congratulations to our prize winners who were awarded in last week’s Communication, Marketing and Fashion Management ceremony. This event marks the beginning of the new semester, where we’re welcoming new and existing students to campus this week.
Thanks to Bon Accord & St Nicholas for sponsoring the prize for “best stage 4 student”.
Thanks to McCalls for sponsoring the prize for “best fashion project”.
And thank you to Trend for sponsoring our prizes for “best stage 3 student” and “best fashion management dissertation”.
Well done to all our winners and we hope you had fun celebrating your achievements!
Yesterday our students presented the cheque for funds raised during the Golden Show fashion event to Down’s Syndrome Scotland. We celebrated by watching a video of the event, for the benefit of the students who were busy styling and organising models backstage on the night of the show.
Well done everyone and congratulations on organising a fantastic event and raising an impressive sum for a local charity.
This beautiful film shows a behind the scenes glimpse of the making of Burberry‘s iconic scarves as they launch their Scarf Bar!
This is an exciting time for Johnstons of Elgin, as the Burberry Scarf Bar is stocked with classic, woven cashmere scarves made in the Scottish mill – a testament to their strong relationship with Burberry, and the skills and craftmanship of the Scottish fashion and textiles industry.
Thanks to our BA (Hons) Fashion Management graduate Rachel Glennie, who works at Johnsons of Elgin, for sharing this film with us. We hope you enjoy!
