Here are some visual highlights of our London trip so far, including Liberty of London and Selfridges (of course!)
Have a fabulous weekend!
This is an exciting week at the Fashion Place because tomorrow we’re setting off bright and early to London Fashion Weekend, with our second year and Masters students!
We’ve been watching the coverage all weekend and are especially enjoying Mulberry’s new designs (we’ve fallen in love with their Roxette in Rose Petal Shearling) and those of Preen by Thornton Bregazzi!
We’re particularly looking forward to the Guy Bourdin photography exhibition at Somerset House. Watch this space for highlights from our trip!

Here’s a sneak peak at the fashion on display at the Gray’s School of Art mid degree show! We’re looking forward to seeing the finished collections later this year!
We just picked up some fabulous and unique Valentine’s Day goodies designed by some of our Product Design students at Gray’s School of Art who’ve set up a stall in the Aberdeen Business School atrium. All for a very good cause ❤
Have a lovely weekend! ❤
It’s that time of year again and our fourth years are working hard on their Honours dissertations. As always we have a really interesting variety of research projects going on and we’re very much looking forward to reading the results!
One of our students is carrying out research into the use of fashion blogs and is looking for participants (fashion students and non fashion students from 17-30 years old) for a focus group which will take place this month in Aberdeen. If you’re interested in getting involved then please contact Suzy at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your help is much appreciated!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to James Storrie, Operations Manager at John Lewis Aberdeen, for providing a really interesting guest lecture for our students today!
