Exciting Additions to our World of Colour Fashion Show

We are pleased to announce that Toni & Guy (www.toniandguy.com) are this year’s hair stylists for the World of Colour Fashion Show. Famed for their reputation during London Fashion Week, Toni & Guy will offer the show a great deal of experience and exclusive looks; taking inspiration from the world’s fashion capitals and incorporating these into the show.

We’re also pleased to announce that the Academy of Make Up Scotland will be doing our models’ makeup this year. You can follow them on Facebook at https://en-gb.facebook.com/theacademyofmakeup?sk=wall&app_data&ref=nf.

World of Colour Mascot

World of Colour Mascot

We’d like to introduce our “World of Colour” fashion show mascot which was kindly donated by the Build a Bear Workshop in the Bon Accord & St Nicholas Centre in Aberdeen.

She still needs a name and all ideas are welcome. Our mascot will be attending fundraising events and helping plan and organise this year’s fashion show.

You can make suggestions and keep in touch with what she’s getting up to via our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/World-of-Colour/625825420776675?ref=ts&fref=ts) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/worldofcolour) – so please follow us!

World of Colour fashion show makes the headlines

World of Colour fashion show makes the headlines

On Wednesday the 9th of April, our stage 3 BA (Hons) Fashion Management students made the headlines (Evening Express) with their World of Colour fashion show.
Well done to our third years and we hope we’ll be reading more about the event in the local press in the weeks running up to the show.

World of Colour Bake Sale

World of Colour Bake Sale

Yesterday our third year Fashion Management students held the first “World of Colour” bakesale with all proceeds going to MND Scotland. In a whirlwind of edible glitter and icing, everything had sold out by 2.30pm!
This event was one of many fundraising activities which will take place in the run up to our “World of Colour” fashion show on Friday the 24th of May.

Easter Window Display

Before going off on their Easter break, our first year Fashion Management students created this stunning Easter window display for the Fashion Place as part of their Store Design and Visual Communication module.

The Fashion Place has been quiet this week and we’re really looking forward to having all our students back on Monday!
